Procrastinating

Well, it's Monday. So far so good. I got up about an hour ago, even though I didn't set my alarm until noon. For some reason I keep waking up earlier than my alarm. It's kind of annoying. I like my sleep.

Right now I'm watching the View. I've recently taken a liking to that show. I guess it is because I keep waking up earlier than I have to. I have to say that I'm going to miss being able to sleep in 3 days of the week next term.

Of course, I should be writing a paper comparing Philly Magazine and the Philadelphia Inquirer, but instead I'm writing this blog. I guess I'm still writing though, so that counts right? I feel like I know what I want to write, but I haven't actually opened Microsoft Word to get it started. I'm always afraid that I will open a new document and then just stare at a blank screen for hours. I guess that is why I continue to put it off until I have like first paragraph written in my head. It has always been hard for me to come up with a way to start a paper. I know what I want to write in the body of it, but I just need that one opening sentence to get it started. Then there is the title. I always try and come up with something creative. Try being the key word. I don't actually know how many title I've come up with that can really be considered 'creative'. Oh well.

The reason I should be writin my paper right now is, I have to go tutor math for a bit and then I really want to go shopping for a bathing suit. But I'll feel bad if I don't get any work done before. This paper is the last bit of homework I have to do this week, besides my ridiculous group projects.

Speaking of group projects, I was in the library for almost 4 hours last night. And what did we do, we made 4 powerpoint slides on Pleo. Check him out at www.pleoworld.com. It's actually a pretty cool product and I really want one. But spending 4 hours on 4 slides was really annoying. And the best part is that we have to meet again to go over it because no one could decide which part they wanted to present. What a pain in the butt.

Anyways, I really need to go write this paper. I can get it done in the next hour right? It's only 1-2 pages. I think it can be done. Well, lets hope that it can!!!!
